The Divest from the War Machine coalition and local campaigns were a powerful testament to the ability of grassroots organizing to unite communities across the nation. The magnitude of the coalition made one thing clear: investment in militarism impacts us all. Composed of diverse organizations and individuals, this coalition worked tirelessly to challenge militarism and redirect resources toward peace and justice. Its far-reaching impact demonstrated the strength of collective action, inspiring communities to take bold steps in breaking ties with the war machine. Though no longer active, the coalition’s legacy continues to inspire new efforts to divest from violence and build a future rooted in equity and compassion.

Click here for a short list of the top weapons manufacturers and military contractors from which we are divesting. Read more about the campaign’s mission & purpose here.
